Risala Rose-Aminifu

Risala Rose-Aminifu was incarcerated for 27 years, serving a life without possibility of parole sentence. However, despite the odds, he dedicated his time to earning a bachelor's degree in Communications from Cal State LA's Prison Graduation Initiative. Since Risala's release in 2021, he has focused on leadership, union work, and high stakes infrastructure. Currently with Evergreen Traffic, Risala is an accomplished operations supervisor with technical expertise in heavy machinery and a deep commitment to crew safety and operational efficiency.
