Notes and Letters

Over 50 years ago, Chuck and Bill grew up across the street from each other in New York City. After Bill joined the Navy in 1971, they didn’t see each other until the two reconnected at the end of 2015 when they discovered they had made their way to the Los Angeles area. Now they collaborate by offering performances that blend Bill’s poetry with Chuck’s musical talents. It is their way to offer a unique look at the world through the marriage of music and writing the two have called “Notes and Letters.”

Chuck Corbisiero earned a BFA from City College of New York, specializing in jazz and and Latin music performance and plays guitar and stand-up bass. He has performed for audiences from New York to California.

Bill Cushing has published five poetry collections, three of which have earned awards. He has also been nominated for a Best of the Web as well as three Pushcart Prizes for his individual writings.
