Jessica Kashiwabara

Jessica Kashiwabara is an editor and writer from the San Gabriel Valley. Her essays and poems have appeared in Black Renaissance Noire, Honey Literary, PANK, Tribes, and Vol. 1 Brooklyn. She was an invited writer for Building Empathy, a community-based education project for the Pasadena Unified School District. She practices Shorinji Kempo, is a member of Makoto Taiko in Pasadena, and currently at work on a collection of essays.
