Iyatunde Folayan (she/her) is an AfroQueer writer, artist, and performer from Detroit who has called Long Beach and Los Angeles home for over 20 years. She is the founder and co-curator of UNFLINCHING, a Black Queer and Trans radical political history and education series. Her recent work includes portraying Marie in Blue Gold and Butterflies by Dr. Stephanie Batiste, while her own play Savior is currently in development. Iyatunde is also a devoted dog mom to Daisy and determined caregiver to her mother, Pat.
