Damian Gonzalez

Damian Gonzalez is a Bronx-born, Los Angeles-bred writer and award winning filmmaker. He joined the Rose Poets for public readings in 2017 and his writing was first included in their 2019 Pasadena Rose Poets Poetry Collection. His 2021 visual poem film, "An Inertial Frame of Reference," which included published work, garnered international attention at film festivals including CineQuest, Pan Eros, Oregon Short Film Fest, Ottawa Kino, and Busan New Wave Film Festival. He is currently working on a Chapbook and an animation short entitled "Space Blues," based on his science-fiction coming-of-age lyric poem.
