Cassandra Lane

A Louisiana native, Cassandra Lane is winner of Feminist Press’ 2020 Louise Meriwether First Book Prize and author of the memoir We Are Bridges, an NPR “Books We Love.” Her stories have appeared in the New York Times’s “Conception” series, the Los Angeles Times, MSNBC.com, the Times-Picayune, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, The Millions, LitHub and elsewhere. She received an MFA in creative writing from Antioch University and is editor in chief of L.A. Parent magazine.
