Anthony Slide

Over the past fifty years, Anthony Slide has written or edited more than 200 books on the history of popular entertainment. In 1990, he was awarded a honorary doctorate of letters by Bowling Green University, and at that time hailed by Lillian Gish as "our pre-eminent historian of the silent film"
