Breaking the Silence: Dismantling the Stigma of Childhood Sexual Assault Through Storytelling, May 2 2:30 - 3:30pm

My name is Anoushka De Georgiou, and I am a survivor of sexual abuse that began at age 16 at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. For years, stigma and shame kept me silent. Becoming a mother shifted my perspective, and when Virginia Giuffre filed her civil case against Maxwell, I came forward to support her, recognizing the power of survivor solidarity. For over 15 years, I have worked in mental health, supporting trauma recovery. I founded the Kintsugi Foundation to transform lived experience into advocacy, policy influence, and survivor-centered care, helping others reclaim dignity, voice, and hope for lasting systemic change.
